My Most Recent MRI Results – Not What We’d Hoped

I haven’t blogged in a long time. Here’s the reason I’ve been quiet: in the past six months I’ve been relishing my ability to live a pretty “normal” life. So, it’s been a long time

I haven’t posted in awhile.  I guess it’s because I’ve been out there “living my life.”  This is a good thing. I’ve been to New York for vacation this summer, where I walked a slow five miles in the heat.  And I’ve been to Arizona for a business trip with Marshall.  And I just got back from Florida for Thanksgiving with my family.  The business trip went well.  New York and Florida were home exchanges, and both were really amazing! Bottom Line: MRI Results Are Great! The short version: the MRI last week showed that there is no new visible growth of the tumor.  Hooray! The long version is slightly more complicated. It took a day longer to get to that result than I expected.  Expectations are often such impediments to the happiness of the moment.  If I could better let go of my expectations I think I would be happier as I deal with what is actually happening.  I was told that I would get the MRI in the morning, the radiologist would read it, and we’d have the […]
